Just two weeks to go until we fly !! Its the last big training weekend. Its also a great time to kick off the blog. If you are wondering what we are doing then the 2 minute video at the top of this blog speaks a thousand words.....









So there you go. We are flying a full size flight simulator of a 747 jumbo jet around the world on a 46000 mile trip.There are just 8 of us for 45 flights with an hour to turn the plane around each time and its 24hours a day for 7 days. We are using real weather, real Jeppeson charts, flightplans validated by eurocontrol and full ATC coverage from VATSIM. There are other teams flying with us in full size simulators from Australia, Hong Kong, USA, Austria, Scotland and Ireland as well as another UK team in London. We are all doing it for charity and we would love it if you follow us and see how we get on. You can even come and visit us if you can get to Coventry during the event.
