All the teams including our own are trying to gain as much publicity for the event as possible, The Air Ambulance have a media team who have issued a press relese on our behalf to all of their media contacts in Press, TV and Radio.
I have been contacted today by a News Agency who managed to get Worldflight and the simulator in the National Press, Radio and TV two years ago and they are coming to do a photo shoot with me in the Simulator tomorrow (Thursday 27th October) They will then put the story out there and see what media pick it up ... if its anything like last time my phone will be ringing off the hook.
Good news on the "Food For the Crew" front, my friend who works at Marks and Spencer has had agreement to supply us with Sandwiches and ready meals on a daily basis so that we dont go hungry, also our Local Chip Shop "The Beech Tree Fish Saloon) will be feeding the crew on Thursday when we pass through the UK.
.... Not long to go now , as you can see Malcolm is constantly updating the blog with pictures and further information as he gets more "technically Proficient"" ! ... thanks Malc !
