No hablo espanyol

we have just passed through Panama city and are now heading down through south american airspace towards Quito in Ecuador. There were heavy thunderstorms around Panama due to a heavy tropical cyclone some 250 miles away which kept the crews on their toes. Here are some shots from the Panama arrival...

Captain Harrison looking very dapper in his local headress. Here is the google map update from the live feed showing us airborne on current leg. We are in the hands of Bogota ATC currently.

We will arrive in Quito in about 40 minutes. This is one of the most challenging approaches on the whole trip and we trained here at length before the event. Still there is nothing like the pressure of doing it under worldflight conditions !

Stay tuned, we have all had some sleep in the the last 16 hours so the blogs should be much better updated now and thanks for bearing with us......
