Trouble in Cancun

Who said this flying lark was easy ? .... the weather in Houston Texas was pretty awful as a dying tropical storm passed inland bringing Rain and Thunderstorms (Yes we do see the lightning) other than that the flight to Cancun was totally uneventful until we turned onto the final approach where the computer that provides the outside visuals crashed ! ... luckily we use a different system for the 747 Instruments and Flight Model so Captain Andy Keeney executed a Go-around and flew the aircraft on instruments whilst I re-booted the Visuals machine ... this meant we had to come off Air traffic control so as not to pop up in the middle of the traffic stream. We landed with no Air traffic control, on landing there was a height difference between the airports in the main software and visuals computers which caused all kinds of aircraft failures that we had to deal with on the ground run ... Ho Hum, never mind all sorted and parked next to Qantas 25 .... Pheeew , welcome to Mexico , now where's that Tequila !
